Vallecula: (Bot.) One of the grooves, or hollows, between the ribs of the fruit of umbelliferous plants. VALLET'S PILLS Val`let's pills". Etym: [From Dr. Vallet of Paris.] (Med.) Pills containing sulphate of iron and carbonate of sodium, mixed with saccharine matter; -- called also Vallet's mass.
